Greenway Application Access Patient API

If you’re a patient of a medical practice that uses Greenway’s Intergy or Prime Suite platforms, you can take advantage of convenient electronic access.

Greenway Patient API Basics

An Application Programming Interface (API) makes it possible for software applications to connect. For example, your email service can connect to the email app on your phone through an API.
For more convenient access to health information, patients or healthcare providers can use an API to allow an application, such as a health app, to connect to the provider’s medical practice.

Patients can then view their medical records when and where they want. With APIs, it could even be possible to centralize a patient’s clinical information from various providers.
Currently, Intergy and Prime Suite do not have other applications using the Greenway Application Access APIs. As they become available, we’ll list them here.

In the meantime, you can work with your provider or the third party of your choice to connect an application to the Intergy or Prime Suite APIs by following the steps listed above.
The Greenway Application Access API allows Greenway’s electronic health records (EHR) systems — Intergy and Prime Suite — to interact with some third-party applications. If your provider uses Intergy or Prime Suite, you may be able to use an app to access your healthcare information and manage your records with greater flexibility.

Follow these steps to get started:

You will need an Application Access API token that serves as your unique identifier. If you don’t have one yet, contact your provider to generate one for you. Your token will give you access to certain Greenway APIs.
To access the Application Access APIs, see the Greenway Application Access document. It includes the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and links to the Intergy and Prime Suite Application Access APIs.
Provide these links to third-party applications to allow them to connect to your healthcare provider. Once they create the connection, they can provide instructions for accessing your health information.

Note: The Greenway Health Application Access APIs are different from the Greenway Health Product APIs. If you’re a Greenway customer interested in our Product APIs, please contact your Inside Sales representative for details.
